Getting there: Split has two central bus stations, one for long distance travel and one for local buses. The number 37 bus leaves regularly from the airport for the local bus station and a bus to Obala Lazareta, 500 metres from Villa Matejuska, is operated by Croatia Airlines to coincide with arrivals. Taxis are available at the airport and a typical fare to Villa Matejuska is approximately 200 HRK. Price subject to change.
Getting around: Split’s historic city centre is pedestrianised and can be easily explored on foot. The city centre has a network of buses that run between 5 AM and midnight. Kiosks (tisaks) sell tickets or they can be bought on the bus.
